HLS shall not make any EHR Donation if such an EHR Donation would violate applicable laws, regulations and program guidelines.

NOTICE: The Donation Program is a voluntary program and HLS has no obligation to distribute, review or approve any application for a donation or to extend an EHR donation. All such actions are subject to the sole discretion of HLS. Submission by a practice of an eligibility form is not a guarantee of donation. HLS has the right to terminate the Donation Program at any time and for any reason with or without notice of termination. The sole limitation on HLS’s discretion not to make a donation is that, if HLS has committed in a donation agreement executed by the Senior Vice President of HLS to make a donation to a physician or a practice in a specified amount, and that physician or practice has entered into a binding contract with an EHR vendor in reliance on that commitment, HLS will follow through on that commitment unless that action would violate applicable laws or regulations.
